- One of the largest Native American domestic cats with the males weighing 15-25 lbs. and the females 10-15 lbs.
- Above average intelligence with a gentle disposition making them relaxed around dogs, other cats, and children
- Generally not a lap cat but loves being adored and seeks the affection of family members
- Well know for their vocalization such as squeaking, chattering, chirping, and even "talking back" to their owners
- They develop slowly and aren't considered full grown until age 4 or 5
